Women's Cross Country Takes Team Title At Oswego Invitational

OSWEGO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo first year Carissa DiTullio finished first to lead the No. 5 Knights to the team title at the Oswego Invitational, Saturday. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • DiTullio covered the 5,000-meter course with a winning time of 19:45.0, besting the 110-runner field by over three seconds.
  • Geneseo placed five runners in the top nine to compile a winning score of 25 points. Brockport finished second (65) followed by Division II St. Rose (92) in the nine-team field.

Ranked fifth in this week's USTFCCCA Division III poll, Geneseo will compete at the Purple Valley Classic, hosted by Williams (Mass.) next Saturday (Sept. 23), while some runners will also run in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan.
