Women's Tennis Takes Down Farmingdale State in NCAA Opener, 5-0

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – SUNY Geneseo senior Maggie Hale and junior Rachel Ollis teamed for a win at number-two doubles and each claimed a victory in singles to lead the Knights' women's tennis team to a 5-0 win over Farmingdale State in first-round NCAA Tournament play, Friday.

Geneseo (13-8) moves on to face host Middlebury, which was ranked No. 2 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division III Women's Tennis national rankings, on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. The win also advanced the Knights into the second round for the fourth-straight season and for the sixth time in eight NCAA appearances.
