Men's Track & Field Competes at David Hemery Valentine Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. - The SUNY Geneseo men's track & field team competed in the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Saturday. 

The Knights' Distance Medley Relay team of senior Justin Hoelzl, sophomore Nico Bellavia, junior Brendan Murphy and first-year Ezra Ruggles raced to fourth place with a 9:57.49 finish. Junior Kieran Sheridan finished the 400 in 49.59 while Ruggles finished the mile in 4:15.12. Senior Sean McAneny added an 8:28.25 finish in the 3000 while junior Matthew Sayre finished the 5000 in 14:37.47. 

Geneseo will compete again at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up on Feb. 21 in Rochester.
