The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation adopted the “One Knight” campaign at the start of the 2015-16 academic year. Fans continue to see “#OneKnight” incorporated across all its multimedia platforms on GeneseoKnights.com, as well as on all social media fronts.
The One Knight campaign is centered on the concept that, in competition, one play or one person can be the difference between winning and losing. Additionally, while the department has nearly 500 student-athletes, coaches and administrators, as well as countless fans, alumni and supporters, if we all band together as one, we can make a difference and achieve success.
We are all #OneKnight.
“I’m a true believer in the concept that, ‘All it takes is one Knight to make a difference,’” said director of athletics and recreation Mike Mooney. “Ensuring we all work together to provide a high-level experience for our student-athlete is important to the overall co-curricular nature of what a Geneseo education is all about.”
There are many ways to show your support for the department. From simply using #OneKnight on social media or attending athletic contests throughout the year, to becoming a member of the Roundtable Athletic Association, all are ways people can make a difference.
Be sure to follow along with and be a part of the #OneKnight campaign on Twitter (@GeneseoKnights), Instagram (GeneseoKnights) and Facebook (GeneseoKnights).
